You would think
You would think it would be incredibly easy trying to find a ring. Last Tuesday 9/1/09 I drove all the way to Boca Raton (on my lunch break) for what I thought would be the perfect ring. The ring was very nice, but it wasn't nice enough and it was not at all what I asked for when I spoke to the sales person.

Well....
Yesterday 8/30/09, I was working for Medics and found myself with a little down time between calls, so my partner and I went over to the mall. While we at the mall I made a stop at Mayors and Bailey Banks & Biddle. Mayors had a good selection to choose from they actually had something that I knew Ashley would love, but I had to continue to look just in case. After leaving Mayors I went across the way to Bailey's. While I was talking to the sales associate she showed me something I also thought Ashley would like, but unfortunately in the middle of my shopping I got a call. Now I need to get myself back over there to finish up my browsing.
Today I have been thinking a lot and wondering whether or Ashley has any idea............

The Four C's of a Diamond
Before I prepare to start my shopping for the perfect ring for the perfect girl, I should probably do a little research on exactly what I should be looking for.
The Four C's of a diamond:
Cut- we are more interested in the proportions of the diamond as opposed to its shape. Every diamond regardless of its shape gets it brilliancy and scintillation by cutting and polishing the diamond facets to allow the maximum amount of light that enters through its top to be reflected and dispersed back through its top.
Color- The best color for a diamond is no color at all. A totally colorless diamond allows light to pass through it easily, resulting in the light being dispersed as the color of the rainbow. Colors are graded totally colorless to light yellow. The differences from one grade to the other are very subtle and it takes a trained eye and years of experience to color grade a diamond.
Clarity- The clarity of a diamond is determined by the amount and location of flaws, or blemishes, in the diamond when viewed under 10 power (10x) magnification.
Carat- The weight of a diamond measured in carats. As the carat weight of a diamond increases so does its rarity and therefore its price.

A sign that we are a perfect match
She Caught It!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
How I know she is the one
People always ask themselves how do I know she is the one. The answer is easy for me.
1. I have always known since just before we started dating that I loved her.
2. The day she told me she loved me was the happiest day of my life.
3. I consider her my best friend
4. I would change nothing about her.
5. The thought of marrying her does not scare me.
6. She makes me a better person
7. She is always there when I need her
8. I can trust her with anything
9. I want to spend all of my time with her.
10. Most importantly I know she has my best interest at heart and always has my back
11. She can cook!
The way I look at it is love is not about finding the person you can live with, but its about finding the person you can't live without.
How we met......
Anytime someone asks how Ashley and I met, I always like to let her tell the story. (I have never been a great story teller) Ashley and I have know each other now for about 4 years. We have been dating for a little over a year as of 7/17/09. I have always had a secret crush on her even before we started dating. Ashley and I happened to meet each other through a mutual party that we had in common. (Most of everyone who is seeing this should already know who the mutual party is.) Til this day I can pinpoint the time where I said to myself I need to be dating Ashley. Some how some way were alone in her vehicle picking up Chinese food. We were talking about some things and at the time I thought there was some natural chemistry, but we were both involved and didn't give it too much thought. Then the day came where we both were single, I called her one day on my way home from work to let her know somethings. While we were on the phone she invited me out with some of her co-workers. I jumped at the opportunity to get together. I had a blast with her that night and I knew I had to do whatever I had to, to make her mine. From what I understand Ashley's friend Molly said "You two will get married". (Molly I hope you are right)
